I play this a lot. Good game. Better than most!

I totally love this game. I have played others and found that the computer will stack its deck. What makes me think this does not happen here is the odds of throwing a 1 or a 6. They are the most thrown numbers by hand and I think if l play my game reminded of that this computer will do the same.

Im so grateful for this backgammon game. I play all the time. I havent had people to play the game with for years, but now I have the chance to hone my skills until I find more competition. And its fun. I love it!

Occasionally some strange doubles, but overall good games the match play feature is great!

Like this version its quick. Been playing this one for years and have deleted other backgammon game I have bought.

Great App. I have been using this for over a year now and it always runs very smooth. Great options and graphics.

The computer wins the initial roll 99% of the time and gets a LOT of doubles throughout the game. Ive even hit Undo repeatedly to see what the computer would roll. Meanwhile Ill often get the same (1 & 4 for example) no matter how often I hit Undo. Otherwise its a decent game if you play knowing the game is definitely in the computers favor.

Enjoy the game and graphics are good. Playing against the computer is fair for the most part.

Its a little heavy with regards to advertising for my tastes but it works.

This is a fun game when I can get a player! There are a lot of times that I can sit for 10 or 15 minutes and not get a match started! Otherwise best backgammon game in all the apps!

Generally fun to play. The computer, even on hard is usually easy to beat. Absolutely does not always choose the best move. Nonetheless, I like it and play often.

Some valid moves are not allowed. Played this game for a long time but since a recent upgrade it wil not let do certain moves that are valid... please fix as this is frustrating.

Its a good enough game if you love Backgammon, but its a little misleading to call the dice rolls random. It seems I can predict the games rolls most of the time. And as has been pointed out, the seeming preponderance of ideal rolls and doubles for the machine makes it obvious that theres an algorithm that controls the flow of the game. Must be easier programming than allowing randomness.

Doubling dice malfunctions (gives you the power to accept your own double then gives the opponent a free roll) Need to introduce time limits to get the cheaters Need match play against other players because match play against the computer is a waste of time (the machine rolls what it needs) Cutting the connection = you lose the game There should be a Hall of Shame for the losers...I could name a few. Now this app seems to have developed a new bug (Nov 2015 update): it fails to keep the connection, game after game. Like another reviewer said, do the developers even read these reviews?...

The opponents moves are very predictable and I rolled 6 double sixes in a row! Disappointing. I like a challenge but not when I know Im doomed.

Want to get angry? Want to feel cheated, then this is your game. Watch him/her get fantastic rolls and doubles while you seem to only get the worst roll. Oh yeah, see how far you can throw your iPad. Pure anti fun.

In fact, you will never have seen so many doubles in your life-- not that *youll* be rolling many. Your computer opponent will own those. Every now and again it throws you a bone, departing from the pattern, but only long enough to coincidentally--and predictably--roll *exactly* what it needs to take out your vulnerable pieces. Every. Single. Time. This game is not so much an exercise in strategy as it is one in sheer frustration. It makes for a great drinking game though; its hysterical to put bets on how uncanny those "lucky" die rolls are. The only thing Ive ever seen more loaded than those dice was our office secretary at last years holiday party.
